Thanks for stopping by! I'm a soon-to-be graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Wildlife Management, and a graduate of Hocking College with an A.A.S. I'm a native of the Appalachian foothills in eastern Ohio, but I'm fortunate in that my attempts at career-building have taken me everywhere from the Alleghenies to the buttes of North Dakota and the hill of southern Ohio to the Kentucky bluegrass, where I currently work for natural area parks. Interests include birds. Other interests include insects, herpetology, botany, geology, and weird local history. This blog is a place to hash out my thoughts on the natural world and try to remember how to identify things.
